SFMA from Ideal Lifestyle Advocates in Raleigh, NC
When you contact Ideal Lifestyle Advocates in Raleigh, NC about musculoskeletal pain you may be experiencing, our chiropractor and staff will begin with an assessment that will include questions about your health, as well as an examination such as an SFMA or Selective Movement Assessment. The SFMA will enable your chiropractor to determine the most difficult or painful region(s) of movement. The area(s) are then assessed in greater detail and may be combined with posture assessments or other chiropractic evaluations.
Following selective functional movements assessments and other evaluations, a member of the Ideal Lifestyle Advocates staff will carefully go over the chiropractor’s findings with you, outline the suggested plan of treatment, and answer any questions you may have. Physical therapy and specific exercise routines are the normal course of action to correct areas of Regional Interdependence that may be causing pain.
